As it goes, my best performance profiling tool are my knees. Today I noticed a slight warm up of my Mac and a quick check showed 19% CPU consumed by Google Drive. In a while it went down but was never lower then 2%.
Clear uninstall scenario for me. Nice to have that Google Drive option, but probably Google engineers will need more time to get it right on Mac (e.g. idle Skype consumes about 0.3% on my Mac).
